Homeschool Classes

I offer a range of options, including online sessions and in-person classes, tailored to your needs. Classes may be ongoing and or one-off sessions/events for large groups.

 

Online classes operate for one hour through Zoom and run weekly or fortnightly during school terms (breaking for the school holidays). Homeschool groups may either form their own class or join an existing one.

 

Face to face classes run for one hour per week during public-school terms. These are organised and hosted by a member of a homeschool group/community in consultation with myself.

There are different options for paying fees (per student):

1. $25 per lesson for "pay as you go" (no payment required for missed lessons if at least 24 hour's advanced notice is given).

2. $20 per lesson for upfront payment for the whole term plus one free lesson (subtracted from that specific term's amount). Payment is required within the first two weeks of starting classes.

*Please note that these prices are for group classes not for private tuition.

All of my classes focus on developing traditional and representational skills in drawing and painting while allowing students room for individual expression and exploration. Care is taken to ensure that activities are age-appropriate and that students feel supported and welcome. I teach from a Christian worldview - with over twenty-five years in Christian education to draw upon. Students are encouraged to create works that effectively use the elements and principles of art, creating images that reflect the beauty of nature, people and the world we live in.
