Private Tuition
Whether you're a child, teen or adult exploring your artistic side or looking to refine your skills, I offer tailored lessons for individuals that inspire and nurture budding artists.
Private lessons generally operate for one hour through Zoom or in person and run during school terms (breaking for the school holidays). While children, teens and adults alike may meet with me online for private tuition, I tend to limit face to face lessons to adults except in special circumstances where a parent/guardian is present with a child/teen. They may occur weekly, fortnightly or as often as required.

Lesson content will be tailored for the individual student taking into account their preferred mediums, style and areas of interest as well as their skill level and age.

There are different options for paying fees:

$60 per lesson for "pay as you go" (no payment required for missed lessons if at least 24 hour's advanced notice is given).

$60 per lesson for upfront payment for a block of ten lessons plus one free lesson (subtracted from the total amount). Payment is required within the first two weeks of starting classes.
An additional fee of $10 per lesson may be charged to help cover travel costs depending on where lessons take place.

All of my classes focus on developing traditional and representational skills in drawing and painting while allowing students room for individual expression and exploration. Care is taken to ensure that activities are age-appropriate and that students feel supported and welcome. I teach from a Christian worldview - with over twenty-five years in Christian education to draw upon. Students are encouraged to create works that effectively use the elements and principles of art, creating images that reflect the beauty of nature, people and the world we live in.​
